Anniversary Traditions

Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. It is a treat for us to slow down and stay home, so we started the tradition of doing just that the first year we celebrated our anniversary. Traditions are something we both love so it continues. I put my wedding dress on (when else am I going to wear it?!) and we dance to our wedding song "I Swear" by John Michael Montgomery. This was the first of many songs Jon has sung to me over the years and it brings back those memories each time. It's simple and fun and something we both enjoy. Never mind the fact that my wedding dress didn't quite zip all the way this year...it's keeping that traditon that matters:)

We'll spend the remainder of of the weekend decorating our home for the holidays.
